The 2014 Kettenburg Classic Regatta held by the San Diego Ancient Mariners Society hosted at the San Diego Yacht Club.
The 2014 annual Kettenburg and Classic Yacht Regatta, presented by the Ancient Mariners Sailing Society (AMSS) and hosted by San Diego Yacht Club, will hit the bay once again, June 27-29.
San Diego YC has hosted the regatta since 2011, when AMSS expanded the format of its long running race to include all makes of classic, full keel sails boats and power boats.
The annual regatta welcomes all Kettenburg makes and models built before 1985 and all other full keel sailboats and powerboats of all wood hull construction built prior to 1985. The Kettenburg and Classic Yacht Regatta combines a classic boat showcase with two days of sail races and powerboat cruises. The sail portion of the regatta features competitive class racing, including two buoy races on June 28 and a scenic bay race on June 29..
