Stock images of Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing, skippered by Ian Walker (GBR), in rough weather, on the approach to the finish of leg 8 Lisbon to Lorient - France, during the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012. We flew in to the storm in the Bay Of Biscay with our fearless pilot to shoot images of man and machine pushing sailing to its limits. It felt that way in the chopper as well.
Huge seas and high winds sent this Volvo 70 and her crew screaming through the ocean at 35 plus knots.
